'Anniversary' by Jelle-LightArt 'Anniversary' by Jelle-LightArt
This weekend exactly one year ago I started with light-painting at this exact same spot. It turned out to be a very addictive new art form for me and I cant live without now anymore ;) so I want to thank everyone who helped me in the past year! Greets, Jelle.

This is trippy, I love this. You said you don't use photoshop or photo manipulation, I'm curious as to how then you make such intricate spirals on top of the rail road tracks that look like energy, and the circular lights and sparks at the end of the tunnel.

With light-painting its all about long exposure in the dark and using/moving a light source. Its like having a black empty canvas and literally paint with light what ever you want. Search on 'light painting tutorials' online and you will find out how its done, you should try it too its great fun!

Thank you! It took some time to get it like this, I was on my own without any help so a lot of running around, I first make test shots of the different elements before doing them all in one exposed shot.

I lit the tracks with a flash light from above and use a custom light-wheel-tool for the interlaced effect.
